Winter Quarters in summer

Made to Winter Quarters after much wandering the streets of Omaha. This. Is wher the pioneers spent the winter before crossing the plains to Salt Lake. Crossed the Missouri on the new suspension bridge - lot easier than wading or ferrying across spending the night at Lake Manawa. We have 3 days to cover the 300 plus
miles of rolling hills to Nauvoo by Friday evening, so...
Until the next hill Bill:)

  1. Have you encountered humongous mosquitoes along the Big Muddy River? Er, in South Dakota the Missouri was referred to as the Big Muddy . . . Keep pedaling, onward, upward.

  2. Hannah says: We went to the Pioneer Parade. I saw lots of wagons. I love you.

Spencer says: I like to stand on a bridge and throw rocks in the water. Did you throw rocks in the water? I love you!
